About Kristin Wiisanen

Kristin Wiisanen received her PharmD from the University of Florida in 1998 and completed residency training at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Wiisanen is Associate Director of the University of Florida Health (UF Health) Precision Medicine Program, Director of Continuing Pharmacy Education, Director of the Graduate Program in Precision Medicine, and Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research in the College of Pharmacy. Dr. Wiisanen leads clinical and educational efforts for pharmacogenomics in the UF Health Precision Medicine Program and serves as Residency Program Director for an accredited postgraduate Clinical Pharmacogenetics Residency and Director of the Clinical Fellowship in Pharmacogenomics program. She is Editor-in-Chief of Pharmacy Today for the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), a fellow of APhA and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and a University of Florida Entrepreneurial Faculty Fellow.
